When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I expected vibrant coral reefs. And I found them. But I saw something on the Amadive itinerary: **A Shipwreck Dive**. My heart jumped. This was more than a typical dive; this was exploration into history.

Descending was magical. First, it was just a shadow in the distance, then suddenly it came into view. It is enormous. It's now a thriving new home, draped in corals and swarming with fish. I spotted big groupers hiding from the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the superstructure. The feeling of swimming next to this giant, silent vessel is indescribable—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling at the same time. It's a time capsule on the seabed.
